Push Putting Exercise

push-putOne exercise for developing aim and the important acceleration through a putt is push putting. Set yourself up to a straight 4 – 6 foot putt. Place the putter against the ball so it is touching and push the ball toward the hole with no backswing. Notice how you relate to the target, how you have to keep the face of the putter constant and where your putter face ends up. All great support for developing your putting skills. This is not allowed when you play the game it’s only a practice exercise.
